Research interests: heterogeneous catalysis; dehydrogenation of alkanes and production of light olefins; design, synthesis and characterization of catalysts; zeolites and porous materials; metal-support interactions; tandem catalysis; reaction mechanisms and structure-activity relationships; catalyst stability and regeneration; selective and stereoselective hydrogenation.
Current research: Co/silicalite-1 catalysts for propane dehydrogenation — effects of calcination conditions, induction-stage catalytic behavior, selectivity, stability and regeneration; selective and stereoselective hydrogenation.
